I went on their site to pay my bill. Had it scheduled way in advance.

I mistakenly keyed 1 digit off from my bank acct no. Bank rejected it and Sawnee is charging me a $35 nsf fee and a $15 late fee. My bank sent a letter but they refused to waive the fees. I have never paid late and I think this is unfair.

I spoke with a manager and she just sat on the phone and didn't really say anything other than "I'm sorry". Several of the customer svc reps agreed that I had never paid late.

One even said "surely they will waive this for you" I'm sure this $50 isn't going to make or break them. Obviously they have me because I cannot change power companies.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $50.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I liked: Customer reps trying to help.

I didn't like: Management.
